PlayerTraffic is a banner ad exchange network. It lets you get your
banner adverts displayed on
other websites in return for displaying banner adverts for other websites on your site.
Rather than you having to negotiate this separately with hundreds of different sites,
Player Traffic automates the whole process for you and provides you with advanced reporting and
statistics.
What is a banner ad?
A banner ad is simply a graphics image, with a link pointing to another
webpage.
Can I place the banner where i want?
Absolutely, you can place it anywhere you want on your website,
just remember if you place it in a good spot on your site, it
will get more clicks, and you will in return get more new
visitors to your website.
Are the adverts displayed on my site filtered at all?
We manually review all applications to join Player Traffic and all requests to change
banners.
As a result, you can be confident that all adverts will meet our acceptable use policy.
What is Player Traffic's exchange ratio?
3:2 - That means for every three clicks your website generates (three people clicking on
the banner adverts on your site), two new visitors will click through to your site.
Doesn't this mean I'm losing visitors?
No. All visitors have to leave your site at some point, so you may as well get something
in return when they do. Additionally, most good websites will make users want to return
regularly, so the visitors will return whether they click on a
banner ad on your site or
not. You will, however, gain extra visitors through Player
Traffic who will hopefully keep coming
back and so you stand to gain more visitors.
Is Player Traffic membership free?
Yes! It costs absolutely nothing to join Player Traffic.
How does Player Traffic make money?
Because the exchange ratio on our network is 3:2, that means that one in every three
clicks served is available to us. We can then sell on those clicks to paid advertisers.
